Already had a sheet roller for the kitchenaid and just needed the cutters for fettucine and spaghetti. These get the job done. It is fairly thin spaghetti, but it cuts well and isn't difficult to clean.I made pasta! Me! Just for context, last week, I burned soup. It tasted like an ashtray. But with this pasta maker, I made pasta!I received the items 2 days earlier than estimated. I was sent a photo to my email of the item at the front door. Is that convenient of what!I was excited about using it so i looked for a recipe and tried the pasta roller and cutters. Fantastic. Much better than expected. Yay! i am so happy about this purchase. The roller and cutters were simple to use after i watched a couple of YouTube videos. Placing the dough into the roller was simple and running the stainless steel was quiet. Fitting the roller and cutters was easy so was attaching them to the Kitchenaid standing mixer. The edges of the dough did not show wrinkles and no holes or cuts formed in the body of the dough as it went through. Changing the size setting on the roller knob was easy and effortless except that the numbers are difficult to see especially with the day light in the kitchen. The manual is flimsy but figuring out how the pieces fit and work is easy. The price was great. I am very happy with my purchase and will use it often especially after my husban said the pasta looked and tasted great. The great thing about the roller is that i can use it to roll dough to make middle Eastern pies (meat, cheese, eggs, spinach, etc.). It will also make it easier to roll the dough to make pita bread. LOVE IT ...We used it to make ravioli. It is well made.I’ve always wanted to make my own psta and I finally bought the bullet and bought one! This one is cheaper than the kitchen aid brand but very sturdy and easy to use!Once I figured out how to attach the plates securely, I fell in love with it. I had an old hand crank pasta machine, but this is so much easier. Cleaning isn't bad either. I let the pasta dry on the plates and once dry it brushes clean. I also learned not to be afraid of flour when making spaghetti or the noodles to keep the pasta from sticking. When cooking all the excess flour just goes in the water. Now I can have fresh pasta any time I want it's so easy.I like the ease of using the Pasta Maker for KitchenAid. And the low price.Excellent product, sturdy, yet easy to use. Very happy with it. Made great pasta first time using! Definitely recommend!Didn't get to try it yet. Might just return it. Open box, take rollers out and the first bag I open there's a screw at bottom of bag. Initially i thought was a spare, but no, screw came off from end plate that holds rollers in place. The other 3 screws were also loose. It's great to see all the QC stickers all over, i'm guessing that's as far as quality department goes. The pasta roller, it's so difficult to rotate i'm afraid will break the gears inside the Kitchen Aid. Asked the seller about these problems and basically i'm supposed to repair a brand new purchase myself. No thanks. Will most likely get returned and buy another brand.I’ve used the roller twice now, once for an egg dough pasta (1.5kg wet), the other time to speed up rolling out pierogi dough (I haven’t properly used the cutters, just ran a 12” sheet of dough through each to test it).Very heavy and sturdy rollers, my only complaint is I wish there where more settings between 2 and 1 (smallest two settings). There is a large thickness gap between the two, not an actual issue for my uses but if your really picky about dialling in the thickness it could be.Other than that these are perfect and I see no real reason to spend the extra on the kitchen aid set for over double the priceI had got a similar set sometime ago for my KitchenAid unit. My aunt also wanted a similar accessory. So, we bought this set for her. Both pieces are built strong and should last a while. The overall construction is good and the chrome shine looks great. The steel metal appears strong enough to last several years. Comes with a cleaning brush to help clean it a little better. These are brand new, so the blades are really sharp and shiny. Makes great pasta that look like the real ones that you can get in the stores. Makes and cuts perfect paste pieces each time. Also, cheaper compared to the original KitchenAid accessories. So, a good investment.Having previously owned the official KitchenAid pasta cutters, and now having these ones, I can safely say there's really no point in buying the expensive KitchenAid ones. These one's are nearly identical, but are drastically cheaper. I've used them twice now. Not too much to say beyond that they do the job, and they do it well. The included cleaning brush is nice to have, though not much tends to get stuck in them anyway.J'ai acheté ces accessoires pour pâtes et j'en suis ravie.
