The press is cheaply made. All parts are thin metal or plastic. To get the press to make anything at all I had to lean on the handle of the push rod while pulling the trigger several times. After 2 cylinders of Spritz dough I had to straighten the teeth of the push rod. This item is no better than the all plastic ones and twice the work to get a decent cookie out of it. Buy something better.
